found this plate whites spectra v-3 on my farm.Located on marylands eastern shore.I have been told it is very rare

Where is it posted that someone's first post isn't banner worthy, or rather you have to X amount of posts to make the banner? Please show me.

under banner pics , show > banner finds > about banner , We often get asked about the criteria we use when selecting posts that appear in the TreasureNet masthead banner.... While we don't have any firm criteria, we follow these general guidelines...

Finds must be significant, and plausible.
Finds / posts must be RECENT.
Images must be hosted on the TreasureNet server.
Posts with great stories are more likely to be selected.
If the post is one of the members first posts, it is less likely to be selected.
Finds must look good in the banner. that was set up long ago , diggumup ... Too many one time posters , showboating their Best

Thanks CMDiamonddawg. I guess he should have came on and replied to 50 posts first with a "thumbs up" smiley. That would make him an official member huh? Maybe if he was a charter member, that would have changed things too? Maybe if he sticks around long enough to show his "worthiness" to Tnet, we can then ressurect this thread and get it on the banner?

50 thumbs up smilies I was laughing to hard and lost ...deleted my reply.. nothin is fair for first timers , you have been here longer than myself ... it is a Fantastic find and I wish it was different for Matt from Maryland ... that place has a lot of history , he will be back with more banner finds . Maybe Mexicans swimming the Rio Grande should be given a warm fluffy blanket, a green card, and a free bus ride to the US town/city of their choice too? Rules are there for a reason!

Saw a new guy make the banner not long ago due to the outcry, but he told a good story and had a few more pic's. Don't think he's commented since!
