My father got this from his parents when he was a teenager - I have been trying to find more about it but I can only find the world map this doesn't appear to have ever existed - anyone have any insights?

Found 2 leads for you to check-out, Not sure if they are the same company and/or the one who did your map.

1. https://www.invaluable.com/auction-lot/masketeers-inc-metal-wood-wall-sculpture-1362-c-a174922a33. A close-up of the label is attached. It appears this piece was made in Virginia. Can't quite make out the zip code. It looks like 24250 or 24210.
