Looked all day at my early archaic site didn’t come up with much but right at the end I pulled out this tool fragment, it’s not much to look at but the material is unusual. I didn’t know if anybody recognized it. Found in se Kansas

I was kind of going back and forth on quartzite, does have a slight sugary look but I don’t know if it’s sugary enough... that would be interesting no quartzite native to this area. I like finding evidence of trade with other areas.
