Maverick checking in, year end total, updates and highlight pics!

Hey everyone, I know I just kinda dropped out off the site here for a while but life just got real complicated, as it does for everyone at some point. I miss showing my finds and looking at everyone else's but such is life.....

So here is my log book ( as most of the older members will remember I'm old school when it comes to my logs, no spread sheets or such) it show my entire year of CRHing. I've had an incredible year this year! My goals were to find 2500 40%'s and 500 90%'s and I think I far exceeded my goals! I will let some of the pics and the book speak for my year but I can tell you it was exciting! I had some really great weeks, and some really bad but lots of fun through it all!

Some highlights would be
1. My first Booker T half
2. a couple of India Rupees
3. First ASE found in a bag of Ikes
4. Bag that had 24-26 modern Silver halves
5. Silver Canadian halves

So I will try and be a more active member this year if I can, but, we have been told some bad news about my father in law, his test finally came back and he is diagnosed with Lymphoma and it is all over his body, he is going to have to start Chemo and we aren't sure of the stage of cancer yet or if chemo will help. So this year may be a very tough year for my family. Sorry to end this on a sad note but this is whats going on in our life right now, besides kids, school, work, after school activities ect.......

So hope everyone did good this year and is in good health and here is to another great year of CRHing for all of us!

Looks like you had an awesome year with the search Maverick. Here's to an even better 2015! I myself pretty much gave it up this past year, but plan to get back into it after we move in April. Your finds are an inspiration to get back in the game.

Congrats on another great year, Maverick! I think I speak for all in that we always look forward to your posts, and know we will be in for a few surprises and some great pics. There aren't many on this site who pull what you manage to, and with the busy life you lead, it's all the more impressive.

Sorry about your father-in-law. Cancer is not kind. My sister in law was diagnosed with breast cancer this year too, and it's tough for everyone. I hope everything turns out okay.

Good luck in 2015! Can't wait to hear from you.

Hey BB, thanks for for the kind words, very sorry to hear of your sister in law, one of my best friends wife (37yrs old) just had both or her breasts removed and just finished 6 months of chemo and is starting radiation now, they think they got ahead of it though so we are all very hopeful, that is one of the other things we have been dealing with here too.

I do miss posting my finds and all the pics I use to do ( you know how time consuming it is though), I'll try to take some more time this year if I can, they just may not be as elaborate as I use to do. Solid year maverick! The 90% totals were insane! There were a lot more silver halves showing up this year though. Maybe because silver price is down? What was your longest skunk streak? Most silver in one box and best bag? You got me beat and i had a massive dream box at the beginning of the year lol. Good luck in 2015, family health, crh and everything else!

Hey DB, it was a great year for sure, there did seem to be times when the halves were really showing up ( or I was just lucky as hell), there were also times when I'd search 18 boxes and get nothin, then the next day boom! I really don't keep track of my best boxes, unless I get one that beats my best box of 72 keepers ( which I haven't again yet) or my skunk streaks, if you really look at my coin log you can see how many skunks a week I was averaging, I don't add any of that up, I just look at the Silver! I couldn't even tell you how much I searched this year unless I sat there and added it all up from the log. Nice box for sure! i know what you mean about nothing then boom.. i got one silver in 16 boxes and then the next 8 boxes after had 75 lol.

I'm glad you're getting your silver Mav, and you had so many memorable finds along the way. I haven't had a chance to count my silver with the two babies, but it'll be slightly less than last year as a result of moving and bank issues. Here is to another year of getting silver while the getting is good, moving one step closer to freedom from our oppressors, and spending time with the people that we love.

Wow maverick, I remembered you doing well earlier in the year, but wow, those are some awesome pics and numbers to back up your finds

I havent even checked these forums in 5-6 months prolly... been way too busy with my business, which has gone above and beyond my expectations!! Wish I had time to CRH, although I have been buying some silver here and there off CL...
