had some color on front; no markings; rust prevents
seeing if those are small screws on back. will not
clean up any better.

Not that I know now what I didnt know five minutes ago....and hate to change your post direction.....But I have a burning question......
"Who under the sun would wear a hotdog bracelet? " I just looked through my wardrobe and not once did I see any outfit that I thought "hmmmm....that would look great with ...Oh Yes...the hotdog bracelet". And it just amazes me that someone actually took the time to make that bracelet. You are right ...its a mystery and belongs on the banner..............

PS Maybe your new find is something off of a childs pedal car.....like an emblem

This National Treasure of a hot dog bracelet will

leaves pile up on my headstone; yes, perhaps

I have found lots of similar items in the UK but they date to the Tudor period. They are called Sexfoils or belt decorations. This could be a victorian belt decoration or horse leather decoration??

If I buy an autograph hot dog bracelet photo and hang it in my 1994, 32 ft. 5th wheel Sportsmaster Patio Hauler by the river; perhaps it will grow into a 32 foot 2006 Toy hauler with 3 slide outs...and a dually to pull it. Maybe I can travel the highways and byways and sell hot dog bracelets...of course I am just dreaming about retirement and a way to finance it!
