It was a slow day with only a wheat penny to show for my efforts. Then I got a deep iffy signal that I was pretty sure was a piece of aluminum. I decided to dig it because of the depth and saw some roundness at the bottom of the hole immediately. I opened the hole up a little more and a flash of silver caught my eye! The silver was big silver! Of course I had no water on me but I could tell it was a Barber half dollar by the exposed areas. Checking the hole there were 3 V nickels in the spill as well. The half dollar is a 1900 O. The V nickels are 1891, 1898 and 1903. Best spill I have found!
