Julio being my trusty ATPro... I hit a neighborhood school that was obviously a "Voy-gin...nyuck, nyuck..." as I was pulling targets out with every other swing.:laughing7: Also came home with $9.00 in clad, including another dollar coin.

I concentrated on the playing field with a paved walking track that surrounds the edges, and found these goodies for your viewing pleasure...

From the "Sweet Sound of Silver" department, a large braided sterling ring, barely visible .925 inside, weighing in at 6.5 grams. 94 VDI at three inches.

And...

A conjoined three band sterling ring found at home plate of the softball diamond, marked ".925 TMA Thailand" 84 VDI at 2 inches.

From the "What the &$%@# is this doing on a schoolground" department...

A nice folder with ARMY markings. A surface find in the tot lot. I find my best knives at schools! :icon_scratch: Mrs. Sub has claimed this for her firefighting kit...ugh...

From the "Kiddy Bling and Other Things" department...

A bling pendant, Rat Regurgitation Palace (Chuck E. Cheese) token, a broken broach, and a large, plated, fish-themed bling ring.
bigbraid6.webp

From the "Transportation" department...

A die cast racing plane and a Tootsietoy roadster.

And from the "There are still relics in the schoolyard" department...

A "Deere" make up compact lid with Art Deco design, and a twist lock (?) type of brass grommet for horse tack...maybe...

As always, thanks for looking. Happy and productive hunting to all of our friends out there on TNet! Sub 8-)

Great silver buddy ! " Well you're on your way, do ya know where you're going ? " LOL

Love the braided ring, congrats!

You and Julio are doing a heck of a job on silver retrivel!
Thats one large ring!
Congrats! Make sure he gives you your cut on the clad. :D

I usually end up with little junk earrings from tot lots.
Funny how those dollar coins seem to be everywhere now, good for us!
Maybe there's an on line market for C.E.C. tokens.

Congrats to you & Julio for a outstanding day of finds - this is the kind of digs I like to read about - nice rings - toys - knife - clad. The ATP is one fantastic machine & thanks for sharing your pictures and story with all of us & I wish you & Julio many more great finds while out dirt fishing.

Well done Sub. I really like the braided ring.

For some reason, I have yet to find a 925 ring this year... I found 18 last year... zero so far this year.

Best of luck to you sir!

I love the paul simon refrences xD

Great Hunt - Congrats!! :hello2:

Nice finds. Of course my favorite is the braided ring too!

BTW, I just heard/read that Paul Simon has a new CD out. It's supposed to be really good...

Like the loot, but don't understand Mrs. S's firefighting kit reference. I am so slow...

That braided ring is cool

Thanks MSBB, I have found about 6-7 dollar coins this year, all at schools. I agree with you on the tot lots, many little ears must get pulled, smacked, rubbed to put all those little earrings in the tot lot. And, yes, I have heard here on TNet that there are CEC token collectors. I have dozens of them, also from schools! Sub 8-)

Thank you Texas Ed, I would buy another ATPro in a heartbeat. It does what I need it to do very well. I really enjoy hunting school yards, less trash, more targets, lots of jewelry, especially adult stuff! Best of luck to you also! Sub 8-)

Thanks Tom, I will keep my fingers crossed for you to find many more sterling and gold rings this year too. Man the piles of trash I dig to get this stuff, no one ever sees thembecause I don't have a wide angle lens on my camera :laughing7: Sub 8-)

Cool finds! That sterling ring (the woven one) is one of the most beautiful I've seen in a while. Nice find!

Thanks Skippy, This is the third, large braided or woven style men's ring that I have dug in the past year. I hope they were not wedding rings! They are my favorites, I must admit. HH, Sub 8-)

Hi Tuberale, We are volunteer Firefighters and carry small tools in our turnout gear, such as this mult-pupose knife with its seatbelt cutter and glass breaking spike. We can always use another one! Sub 8-)

Great cache of finds! Gotta love those silver rings!

Ahhhh, just love it when a plan comes together!

A wonderful walk!! WTG!
