Today was a day of medieval finds: a fragmented ring brooch from the 14th century, a disc brooch of the 10th century and a shield mount dating to the 11th/th century AD

Is this the field you got the Roman Silvers from?

The field where I found these items, is about 200 m away. A DMV is supposed to have existed nearby.

My God...Fantastic! I love the shield mount. I'm ever envious.

Cheers and HH,
Brendan

Fantastisch! Glückwünsche!

:o

Fantastic as always Folkert! I have a friend that has orders to Weisbaded at the end of February and he hunts .I think he is going to try to look you up. He lived in Germany for several years and has a nice collection of roman finds also. I told him he is one extremely lucky dude!!

Very nice Folkert! Are you in the forests detecting? Your finds lately are in very nice condition with exceptions. HH, Mike
