Medieval Spanish coin?

Trying to find out info on this coin. Copper, with 3 towers, looks like an 8 on the front in the shield. Lots of symbols on the shield side. I think I can make out 15?? For the year. Thanks!

I do not know a lot about these but yours is certainly old, hammered, and a lot of the individual Spanish city states had coinage like these. I'd look there.

That seems really close but without the obverse legend that includes the Kings names, I'm going to assume there are a few options left?

Yeap, I agree we have narrowed it to PORTUGAL but now we need to focus on the lettering.
