Merc gets haircut!

Hi all. Last week I had a couple good half dollar boxes totaling 19 silvers with 6 90%, one of which was my first Ben from a box. This weeks three boxes gave up some silver also. First box had 3 40%. Second box had 2 40% and one 90%, which was a 1906 barber. Third box and I'm back on skunkville. Very happy with my results. Some pics for your consideration;

Nice barber, still looking for my first walking lib, then ill worry about getting a haircut.

I have found 2 barber dimes, and u can tell when you find one just by the rim, really skinny n no ridges, its a rush. Also fun looking it up in a redbook to see if its a key date.

Really? Slab it? Not very familiar with barbers. It has a lot of wear but all the details are visible. Haven't checked the date yet to see if its rare.

Theekman, funny you mention that because I knew I had something good just from the rim, although I thought it was going to be a walking liberty. Still haven't found a wl in the wild. Yes, I need to look my coin up.

Yes it does put the skunks in perspective. I don't keep records but the last two weeks have improved my silver per box average.
