Now that's the only kind of Mercury we should want to find with our gold......

SAVE ALL HEAVIES FOLKS! BLACK GOLD

From your discard?...did you hit it with your vsat or just see it

read your other post..so you got that from a shake and bake batch?

I quenched all my trap heavies. I have done this before with poor results. When I walked by my 5 gal bucket today I noticed gold in the bucket. I panned it and found nice piece then I saw this hunker and cr*pped my shorts lol

I will probably do it weekly now it's an ADD thing

I have run into that sticky bucket gold in the past, it makes you really pay more attention durring sluice cleanups. Lol great find! I just wish my sticky bucket gold was that big.

Now that is one novel use for a charcoal starter! Considering how hot those things get it's a natural use for it. Would also make for a nice portable heat source for "Shaking and Baking" while out in the field!!! Much more controllable and safer than using the camp fire.
