Hey Gang.......
I had absolutely NO business going out today. I've got a nasty cold, it was about 45 degrees out and the winds were kickin about 20+ mph! Buuuuuutttttt......I went anyway! ;D

Went directly to a school I hunted recently. Didn't find too much there the first time. But needed a fix, so off I went. Started right off around the playground equipment. Hit a nickel signal and figured I'd find a nickel. NOPE! To my surprise, a nice little man's 10k gold ring with two small diamonds! WOOHOO! Then a little clad, then a nickel signal again. It was really close to the metal swing support, so I figured it was a false reading. NOPE!! A nice man's 14K Gold ring with 9 diamonds! Yay ME!! I did the happy dance for sure. My son was with me on this trip (sheer boredom on his part), so he was able to snap a couple of pics and caught the second ring on film. A very good day in my book, and a first as far as finding two gold rings in one day, especially on a playground. Wow, I'm still fired up!

Happy Hunting to all and thanks for reading my post!
Moon

congrats! what a day...sure made it worth going out in the cold eh?! :D

Wow Moon! DOUBLE GOLD! I have to slave my butt off in the surf and swim with sharks to make that happen which it rarely does! That is unreal!

I am coming up to Augusta for the Christmas holidays. I will have to hit some playgrounds in that area. I usually hit the woods looking for CW relics during that week though and probably will leave the playgrounds for you pros. I never find anything at them.

Great stuff for you!

Merry Christmas!!!

Moon,
I am really happy for you. I remembered the post where you gave what money you had for a good cause. It found it's way back to you.

That's a good one.....I'll have to use it!

Thanks everybody. It was a great day. Glad I was able to get out. I've been searching tot lots for about five years now. I don't usually find much of anything. They are so hunted to death here. But this one is outta ways and I think it's all mine ;D. I'll definitely been hitting it often. I'm still in shock!

HH,
Moon

In the north east, "nasty cold" is not 45 degrees :) that's called "spring" :D Join me on the beach in February and I'll show you what "nasty cold" is :D

Nice digs! Nice "obsession" (some call it a hobby) isn't it? :)

Hey Joe, I didn't say the weather was nasty cold, I said "I" had a nasty cold! :P
Anyhoo.......45 degrees and gusty blowing wind is cold for the south! We get our share of freezing temps too. Glad I don't live in the frozen tundra like alot of you guys do! Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

Thanks everyone for your replies, and don't get cabin fever too bad this winter!
