Metal Detecting Shoes

Was driving home from work at noon today and saw where they had tore up about eight feet of sidewalk. Swung around and figured I could detect quick even though I wasnt dressed for it...
Was getting a solid hit ,but couldnt find anything when I dug around...finally after ten minutes I was getting pretty mad because I kept getting a louder hit and couldnt really get down and dig good with a skirt on....So I just came home....When I took my shoes off....Hahaha....1961 gummy dime stuck to the bottom of my shoe!!!

About 12 or so years ago, my hubby and I were on our way out west and decided to stop at the Crater of Diamonds State Park. (I reallly liked camping there).

Anyway, the next couple of days, we stayed there (it was during the middle of the week, so it wasn't too crowed), and on the last day, we were waiting for a lady to finish hosing off her dog, who had been out in the field with her. She had a mat underneath the dog, and off popped a diamond from the dogs fur!! It had rained the one day, and everything was very muddy, and the dog was caked, so he must have picked it up with the mud!!! The guy from the park actually saw it fall off and chased it for her. She thought they were kidding, but it was a nice little diamond!! The park guy said that another lady found one when washing her dog in the bathtub, after spending a week in the park finding nothing! Man's (womans) best friend!!!!!!!!

Oh Cripes Mrs O...Now you are going to have everyone metal detecting their dogs!

The bad part is , I also carry my fishing rod in the Jeep too and more than once stopped and fished off the bridge at noon ...in heels....hahaha...

Great story Gypsy you have some great adventures,I would have to break out my camera and get some pics of the lady detector in heels,hell maybe there is a porn script in there somewhere or at least a decent paperback,would appreciate any contributions you might want to make to the script/novel? :}
