Metal detecting state parks

Right you are about the FMDAC. The State of Michigan is about to change it's ruling on areas in State Parks where metal detecting is allowed. The DNR rules say one thing and the maps say another.

Keep sending those letters to your State Representatives to get them to act on your behalf. If left alone, they won't even do the right thing.

In Ohio you olny need to file for a free permit at each state park you want to hunt. I do it every year and hunt the lake beaches.

I too thank you much for the post. I was able to find other near by parks to hunt that I didn't even know existed. 8)
