Based on a few replies here I would agree that the amount of cancer emitting waves would probably be low.
You never know!

I really don't think metal detectors are a probem but Other RF can be.

Do you really think 4 people dieing out of 10 doing the same work over a 10 year period is crazy?


Only thing common was working with MicoWaves during the same period of time.

This puts it into perspective...detectors are from about 1.5KHz to 60KHz, to the best of my knowledge, for mainstream detectors.

Swinging a too heavy detector too many hours a day might cause pain, but I wouldn't assume the pain is fatal or is caused by radiation.

I've seen claims of microwave harms & I think I might take out my frozen dinners half hour early & make them in the toaster oven.

I visited WSM 650 AM in Nashville & the transmitter engineer said he was 80 & he replaced someone who was 85, 50,000 watts of RF.

I really need to read up on Wikipedia to have a better idea what to say.

If EMF causes damage, it would have to be caused by specific resonant frequencies that correspond to our molecular and cellular vibrational/chemical/electrical characteristics.
