Amber Ones..

I had a smart alec answer all ready to go until I saw that you're a new member. So, I'll keep my snarky self to my self and in place of being a smarty pants offer you a welcome to the world of metal detecting. You're in for some good fun.

I think in terms of sheer value, your first post outdoes mine! So congratulations. Keep at it. You're gonna love this!

Hi Amber, looks like a lead weight to balance a wheel

Yup, Excel is the company who made the weight, and the 3 means 3 ounces. They're used almost exclusively on steel wheels and clip onto the edge of the rim. If you hunt along roadways, curb strips, or driveways, you'll find a lot of them.

Thank you all! I looked online and it wanted to keep giving me windows excel info.... soooooo Thank you!!!
This forum is great. I’m prepared for snarky comments. Keep those coming! Lol
