Meteorite?

I found this. It is dense for its size. Very magnetic and it tests positive for nickel by using the nickel testing solution.

Could this be a meteorite and if not what could it be?

Not that I'm all that experienced with meteorites, but it just doesn't quite look right to me for it to be one. Sorry.

Iron with a bit of nickel is quite common. Also, I have seen basalt test positive for nickel with common solutions.

If you believe it to be a meteorite, present it to a QUALIFIED lab or organization. If my opinion proves to be in error, show the documentation, and I will admit I was wrong.
