Michigan gold?

No there's lots you can do although there are strict limits on type of gear used in most places. Google muskelonge lake (or similar spelling)...up near Lake Superior for example.

Many streams with trout do not allow anything but others you can hit include the Huron River which I hear has gold. At least 20 counties across MI have reported prospecting success according to http://www.goldprospectorsspace.com/ posts.

The people who created the Gold Cube used it to work black sands in the great lakes - they got gold (very very fine stuff, but gold is gold).

I'm interested in places to prospect up there too. I thought the gpaa claim closed in michigan but they still have the LDMA claim..
