I don't even know where to begin getting an id on buttons, so I'm asking for help. Found this button today in Vermont. It's coat size, has an eagle sitting on a shield. On the shield there appears to be a bomb with wings? Not sure on that tho. Here's what I can make out on the back..."L & R METAL PROD CORP" "BRONX, NY"

I don't know how old this may be, but I'd love to find out.

I appreciate any help figuring this out!

US Air Force uniform button. Vietnam era I believe. I don't know if they've discontinued use of that design or not

Your silver plated button dates from 1949 to the present day. Can you read the back mark? That may help narrow the time frame a little.
