Military button NJ? What era??

[Bartek]

Rescued this US NJ 6 button today. Did not find anything similar online. Any ideas what is it and what time frame??

Thanks in advance!

All I can find is this. I would guess New Jersey National Guard 6th Infantry pin from WW1 but I am guessing.

This one is for the item on the last Ebay pg as a reference. Looks like your but with MD instead of NJ.

Great find.
