Military button, WWI or WWII?

Found my first military button yesterday! I’m trying to figure out if this is WWI or WWII, any ideas?

Impossible to tell without the back. They've been used since 1902 in both WW1 and WW2.

all the ones I've found around here that had the wide rim like yours were from WW1
