✅ SOLVED Military pin?

i got these pins on a USCG hat but never seen them before
and can not find them on the net
anyone know anything about them
says G23 on the back

The G23 is just the alpha-numeric code for the manufacturer, which was started after 1950, with G23 indicating that the Ira Greene Co. made these.

Are you sure your hat is USCG? That insignia is specific to the Army as far as I know.

i checked with the widow and she informed me that her husband was all so in the National guard so yes it is army thanks
