minelab 600 for shallow salt water hunting ?

Hey hi all. whats the opinion on using a minelab 600 for shallow salt hunting. will it hold up is my first concern. and will it preform well. currently running a garret xl 500. pulse seahunter so just getting back into some water hunting and came across a 600 for sale. etc. and researching now if its a better option ... Thx D

Ive used a equinox 600 for the last 5 years or so for hunting in water.I just got a manticore but the 600 did very well.very good machine for the money.never used a garret so not sure how it compares to that.I did have to replace the head unit for water getting in it once but very good machine.

all of my water hunting was in salt water too.
