Probably the 305 as it's as close to a beep and dig machine out of the three which I think would work the best and fastest for shallow targets.

The one you KNOW the best and can swing quickly.. For me it would be the 305

if you were going to Atlantic city for the Minelab Beach hunt
and had these 3 choices, Knowing planted finds will be shallow
and Interference from others too close is possable

which would you prefer ?

Explorer SE Pro

Sovereign XS2 pro

X-Terra 305

Reasons why, would be appreciated.

the 305 is the one I know the least.
had it over a year but never did more then turn it on.
Still need to get out with it once it warms enough here again.

I Actually hate the Icons, need to know what they mean & Write in Marker on the screen in
english what is what

I'd swear it's made for cavemen or egyptians who draw pics on rocks

I'm joking on the on off switch of course I Found that

I do see how to hold it

For me i like Sovereign GT The first and second is Excalibur II, i wish you luck.

Im an Exp SE guy... so id turn down or use it in auto sensitivity with a little less gain and low IM. If the targets are high tones it wont miss much.

I'm guessing there will be tokens for Detectors, Gold etc.But
dosn't say what they will be made of..I
would guess Aluminum would be cheapest source.

will be giving away 14 Minelab metal detectors as prizes in the hunts. These will include 1 GPX 5000 down to an X-terra 305. Many prizes including gold and silver

I don't know those machines but whichever has the fastest response time and the least interference with other detectors would be my choice!

yep interference is the Big thing.

Being they are trying to sell 1000 spots,
if even 1/4 wants to hunt, that's allot of detectors.

& at an average of $150.00 each if all pay, I would think they wanna hunt
