Hope this helps

you can reach out to him here:

[email protected]

NOT SURE HE CAN DO ANY WARRANITY WORK FOR THE GUYS THAT NEED THAT.
just passing along some info. - F Y I

I sent the guy an email almost two weeks ago and never heard back, ???

DONT SEND YOUR DETECTOR TO BILL BRANIN IN LAS VEGAS..you wont get your machine back, he will switch it out and send you back another machine not the one you sent to him..i know this from my own experience with him....
send it to min lab directly....
hope this helps out..
john

If it is under warranty and anyone but Minelab does the work, it voids any remaining warranty....

John

John,

Highlight the old post on the other forum with your mouse, do a right click with your mouse while the pointer is over the highlighted area, select copy and and left click it, go to microsoft word doc, or notepad and right click on the page and left click paste while pointer is in the new blank doc......You can then do the same thing again here, open a new thread and paste it to the new thread the same way....

When you say "Other forum"
If that means Not TreasureNet,
Please Don't put it here.

IF The person on the other forum
Dosn't belong to TreasureNet
it's Not welcome.

IF You mean from somewhere else here at TreasureNet,
A Link is sufficient.

Jeff, just to be sure I was clear, I did not mean for him to post a hot link to the "other" forum, only to cut and paste the body of the post since it was his post.... ;D

i was/am trying to find some info on a guy i remember reading about. this all started because i read johns post on another forum!
chuck.

Minelab does not distribute parts to anyone outside of their own repair centers. So it would be wise only to have them do the work. Now mods are different story. There are folks out there that can do great mods to minelab detectors, but know who you are dealing with.

Best Regards,
Steve

yea i got sick of minelb also.i just do it myself.unless it a circuit board problem, everything else is simple to work on, because you can buy a new coil, headphones, and batteries.

Snooksion - How do you open and reseal the circiut board housing to ensure it's watertight, just curious.

Thanks
Ron
