Yanno what? Garrett is american made too. Id like to thank minelab for making my mind up for me.

I thought it would be comparable in price to the atx but damn. Oh well, looks like ill be getting that atx after all.

Yeap! Out of my price range for a backup. Do hear Fisher is coming out with a new one that will compete w/ Garrett ATX and this Minelab SDC. Wish they'd hurry!
