Minelab Service---The verdict will be ???

UPDATE #3

Received a call from Minelab. I called back and made a payment for repairs. Supposed to be here by Friday. So far so good, took two months though.

Let you know how it arrives. Might be on the beach this weekend.

I still say 2 months is way to long to have a detector in for repair............To me even 30 days is way to long.............But if the keep a detector after 30 days they should get you a loaner or deduct 50% off the repairs..................... That is not good service 2 months.......... Now we wait and see if it works or you have to send it back again..............

LOL, talk to Willyd Tesoro had his Tiger Shark for over a year.....The forgot to ship it back to him after it was repaired. Eveytime he called to check on it he was told it was waiting for new waterproof connector, turned out it had been repaired for a year and just sitting in shop.........

I would have to say the service with Tesoro & Fisher & minelab is embarrassing...... Not like it use to be thinges have changed and not for the better**********

UPDATE #4

Got the machine back. New coil. They even put new decals on the cylinder. Received on December 6th. So the entire ordeal was 9 weeks plus or minus.

Hoping to take it for a test run tomorrow.

All's well that eventually ends.
