Tuseday July 14 he goes in for a triple by-pass and I go in for a total right shoulder replacement both are overnight surguries and are old hat for most Surgurons . My son just got out of the hospital from a acceident from a deer jumping out of the bushs on the side of the road and hit "him" and knocking him off his motorcycle. Broken ris on his right side /broken R. Color bone . cracked R. Rotator cuff ! He is home recouping well but slowly ! Hope your time under the knife is quick/total as I'm sure it will be ! As always prayers for you !

I with you brother, I go in for a total reverse shoulder replacement surgery on July 16th. Mine is the left shoulder.

I had triple Bypass 6 years ago. Tell your brother one of the best things about the surgery was Physical Therapy a month after surgery. It really helped getting me back on my feet and moving. Also one of the hidden gems they don't tell you about before the surgery is this: if you never suffered from Afib or atrial fibrillation before the surgery, he most likely will after the surgery. Everyone one I know who has had bypass surgery which is about 10 so far are taking medication for Afib. I'm currently taking Eliquist for it.
