Made you look. Just got back from camping today. Its my birthday and my wife said I should go detecting. Haven't been doing much of that this year so I was happy to oblige. I recently got permission to an empty lot in a neighboring town so of course I had to try it out. Super trashy and 85 percent of it had packed gravel 2 inches down. Managed a few finds though. The $20 token, what I think is a roasted presidential token, a 51 rosie, and a good for token that says J. Broghammer Chadron, Neb. Good for 5c.Can't get a good pic of the token.Good time all and all. Any info on the token? Thanks for looking!

What does the back of that token look like? Man, seeing that St. Gaudens design come out of the hole would have given many people a heart attack!

That's a great token! Maybe post it in the Tokens section - I don't have any references but some members there may be able to assist.

I think it is for the saloon of Joseph Broghamer. He was in Chadron abt 1890-1913. Before that he operated out of Deadwood, SD. Here is a token for his son who I assume took over the saloon after he died in 1913:

Thanks. I agree. Most of the time is rather find a token than a silver dime.
