Moon pics from 12/7

Nokta FoRs Gold, a Gold Cube, 2 Keene Sluices and Lord only knows how many pans....not to mention a load of other gear my wife still doesn't know about!

Finally got off my lazy arse and took a few Moon shots early
this morning. It was a balmy 28F. out at 4:30am, but the skies
had finally cleared of the fog so I just bundled up (no shorts here!),
grabbed the tripod and gear and stepped out.

Shot 20 frames (in RAW) total, and as usual with Moon pics there was
only a few worthy of processing to finished images.

And yes, the Moon does have some color to it..8-)
 

I wonder if us Earthlings will ever do anything with our Moon?

Very cool pics I saw an awesome spot for a pic as I was driving this morning about moon rise not sure of the time but it was the moon behind an oak tree on the top of a hill.The tree was silhouetted perfectly on Highway 101 here in California down by Morgan Hill I guess the oak would be a scrub oak.
 

When I was a kid I really thought we would be touring it by now.
 

I wonder if us Earthlings will ever do anything with our Moon?

I always thought it would be a nice place to grow taters
