Yet another INSANE day. We did our research and found another very very good site! 21 coins in total! I got all the silver coins except for the 1845 dime and the trime. My friend scored 9 coppers and I got 6. He also found a mass militia cuff button, ramrod guide and a lock cover. I found a little brass lock also. Many firsts for me on this hunt! A beautiful 1835 capped bust dime and a 1826 Mexican half real! We are going back tomorrow! I cannot believe how fortunate we have been. Again, research is key! I haven't even cleaned the coppers yet. I am so over the moon with my first capped bust dime. These sites are still out there!

It's really nice to see research that pays off. Amazing hunt...so far! 🙌🙌🙌 The capped is drop dead gorgeous!

Wow! Wow! And wow! Fantastic job. I can’t wait to see what comes out of the ground on your next trip to this site.

That’s a great hunt. Virgin sites are very difficult to come by and I’m happy you fellas are on a couple. The silver to large copper ratio is incredible as well. I average 20:1.

Good luck tomorrow.

Great to see a really smoking hot site show up here once in a blue moon - Great finds !

Now there is some research that paid off. Congrats on a great batch of coins, and your first Capped Bust dime.

Now that is one awesome looking piece of silver. Congrats. I would go over that place several more times. I’m sure you’ll find more great coins like those.
