Hi all,
Me and knorrski hit the covered area at our fairgrounds one more time and it still turned up a couple of nice finds.Knorrski dug up a item(see what is it section)and she found a ring with the initials WSCO inside.(any ideas)it was about 7 in deep, and we found a couple of clad and 4 wheats with the oldest dates being,1916,1921.We have found a nice handful from such a small area and it proves you can never hit a area too hard.We have gone there 3 times and pulled out keepers on each trip.

peace,bigrig

Old fairgrounds are sweet. I have only been detecting for 2 years, but have made most of my good finds at fairgrounds. There are 3 fairgrounds within 45 minutes of my hometown. One is actually in my town. All 3 date back to the 1870's-1890's.

Keep it up.
