Back at the covent yesterday. Lots of junk. Stung by bee. A couple interesting finds though.
Three wheats '28, '39, '46. Another thimble, my second from the Convent, although this one isn't silver. A cross (not silver or gold), and a tennis pin. The best find of the day is not pictured yet, my FIRST TOKEN. It read at VDI 70, a strong penny signal. Pennies are usually 77-79 so I wasn't sure what it would be. I'm trying to get it cleaned before posting a pic, but so far I see: 3 1/2 cent Token, Norwich, CT. I can't make out the rest yet. Has anyone else found a 3 1/2 cent token?

Bad bee......and it didn't end there, I left the key on in my truck with the AC and radio on....Oh, for about 2 1/2 hrs. Called the wife for a jump. Here are some of the other finds. The middle one looks like a horse hitch. Don't know what the other three are.

Middle may be a cinch ring...some are buckles and others are just a simple ring.

I think it goes into a hitching post.

I've been detecting for tokens for years, and yet to get a 3 1/2 center. They exist, but usually are found in 2 1/2 cent denominations. Great find, keep us updated!

You're right, it's a 2 1/2 c. Looked like 3 1/2 with naked eye. I couldn't get a good pic but finally found it online. I thought it was an Electric Co. Token, but it's a Shore Line Elec. RY (Railway) Co. Token. If it were new it'd look like this.
