More iron....first mule shoe!

It sure is getting darker sooner, but the temperature is great. I had a little time this evening and found more iron...and I think what is my first mule shoe!



I am trying to find more goodies for the Heritage Society. Maybe it will spark interest for history under the ground!

Looks like a mule shoe to me. Mule shoes are more straighter, where horseshoes are more rounder. Sometimes the hips,legs of the shoes are turned out on mule shoes. Nice post!

Thanks, RVRoamer. Tonight is the night for show and tell. I am curious as to what items will interest the Heritage group! Hopefully they will want a few items to be restored for display. I am working with electrolysis process now. I started it out on the deck, but the incessant rain made me bring it in and out all the time because if the electrical connection. I am trying it in the garage for now..and soon cold weather will impact it. I am still trying to figure tha best way to continually use it.
