Re: Look What I Found
All the good folks at T. Net:
Charlie P. (NY)
“Ramps!”
No,
but the seed pods are very similar.
freeze12,
"asparagus" ?
No.
Jopher,
“Alaskan King Crabs??”
“Certainly not Lady Slippers!”
No.
lionhrt9,
“Ditto!!!!!!!!! Good call, guessin but i think we got it!!!”
Ditto, no.
dave-enc,
Thanks on the congrats.
Yes, I do so enjoy seeing them “pop“ each year.
Jeffro,
“Looks like a tulip, mine have already come and gone.…”
No.
Our tulips were just coming out when we got hit with
some cold weather this year. Cut back on the production.
NorCal 6er,
Yes, those coins are in poor shape. Will do some work
on them just cleaning them a bit.
“bet there something you found on one of your hunts”
Yes, never know what you will find.
Abbey,
And a happy spring to you Abbey.
“I guess they couldn't possibly be peonies.”
No.
“I've got daffodils I'm been snitching from the woods-
and they're faithfully blooming away! I love those happy
'faces'!”
Just love finding woodland plants. Snitching, yes.
If I only
see a few I leave them alone, but if I come into an
area that
has many I always seem to find a container of some
type, soak them good, and take home and try to plant.
I’m sure He put them there for me to take.
Dunky,
“I'll guess lily of the valley.”
No.
“I'm pretty good with plants”
Sure wish I was. The woman has the green thumbs
for planting. Me, I’m just all thumbs :P when it comes to
planting things. It’s not the planting I have trouble
with, it’s getting them to live.
Treasure Tales,
“How about Calla Lillies?”
could be but you changed your pick.
“The only buffalo nickel I've found was while
raking through a small dump, just last year. It
just rolled right out of the dry soil - it was a
real shock to see that coin after all these years
of never finding one. And I didn't even need a
detector to find it - just a common old potato rake.”
Never know what type of tools will make the find.

But it does seem that folks that metal detect fall
into the habit of really always checking the ground.
Walk around with their eyes on the ground.
Strange folks.
Not sure why those buffalo nickels are so tough to
dig up.
Ditto here, have only found a few over the years.
Dunky,
Perhaps those in your photo will turn dark in a few days
Rudy2003,
“ALIEN POD PEOPLE”
No.
Treasure Tales,
“Agapanthas”
Had to look that one up.
No.
Night Stalker,
“keep us updated with the pics!”
O.K.
Todays photo:
Rtde3,
Yes, is good to see me getting out and posting
And you good person,
have a good un……………….
Paul1410,
“I'll wait for the future foliage pics “
Good idea.
Just a side note. Went out to the area where
I found the coins yesterday and did good.
Got myself a "V" nickel 1912.
