More Silver, wheats, and tokens from the woods

Howdy all,
I got back out in the woods today with Damon64, and my buddy Tim. We covered a lot of ground today to find the extent of the area. I got wheats right off the bat, and just kept goin from there. My first good keeper was the 1954d washington quarter. I got a pic of it on the hole. It was only about an inch or so down. Then I managed a few Wa. tax tokens. These are everywhere out there. Next I got the 1934 Union Pacific Railroad Token. Its aluminum and a bit cruddy but I am not complainin. Then not far from the rail token I got the 1944s merc. I knew it was shallow but I didn't ever think I would find a merc on the surface. It had one leaf over the top of it. Unbelievable. The dates on the wheats are 2x 1944s, 2x 1945s, and a 1937s. The weather was great and the company better. I can't wait to get back out there. Thanks for lookin and luck in the hunt.

Nice finds, great token. Every time I detect a old aluminum type token, they have a white powdery corrosion and almost crumble in my hand. Its nice to see yours is in nice shape.

I found a token just like yours at an old park in Bryan Ohio a few years ago. Showed it to a rail buff I work with and he was pretty excited about it. Didn't know a value though, but was pretty sure it was worth more than the gas it took me to get there and back!
