Howdy all,
I got back out in the woods today with Damon64, and my buddy Tim. We covered a lot of ground today to find the extent of the area. I got wheats right off the bat, and just kept goin from there. My first good keeper was the 1954d washington quarter. I got a pic of it on the hole. It was only about an inch or so down. Then I managed a few Wa. tax tokens. These are everywhere out there. Next I got the 1934 Union Pacific Railroad Token. Its aluminum and a bit cruddy but I am not complainin. Then not far from the rail token I got the 1944s merc. I knew it was shallow but I didn't ever think I would find a merc on the surface. It had one leaf over the top of it. Unbelievable. The dates on the wheats are 2x 1944s, 2x 1945s, and a 1937s. The weather was great and the company better. I can't wait to get back out there. Thanks for lookin and luck in the hunt.

Wow Juju, nice hunt!! That silver is awesome but that token is way cool!! Sure beats those Washington state tax tokens. I have handfuls of them still. Congrats on some great finds!

The tax tokens are thick at this new site. Not quite as bad as pulltabs though. Hope all is well on your end Ray.

Love that Union Railroad token..

I dug the exact same token two years ago waay out in the middle of Calif's Mojave Desert near the town of Trona. I donated it to Trona's Railroad Museum where it is on display today.

Everyone else has said all the "oohs and Awwwws"
and that don't leave much for me to say that hasn't
been said. The silver is fun to find, but the RR token
is really neat. Those you don't find that often. Nice
finds Juju... Gold Nuggets :hello:

Thanks Nuggets. The housing area was mostly for ordinance workers. Hopefully it will kick loose a few more tokens. Not that I won't take the silver. Tokens are just a bit more fun to dig.
