More than 1,000 dead birds fall from sky in Ark.

Well let's face it. What is one way to totally discredit someone's theory on something? Make them appear to be totally nuts in the media.

So whenever someone steps up and says, for example, this could be a top secret weapons test, people are quick to judge. Why do people have ANY trust in the government of any country? The people that run the government for the most part are unaware of anything but their immediate sphere of influence/concern. So if a select few individuals decided to do something and told no one about it, most would never know it and the people in the government that came out and said, "It's not us" would be lying but never know it.

I think it is interesting that this is happening globally. Not just in one place now. Makes one wonder what exactly is going on. One can only postulate two possibilities at this point.

1. It is a purposeful attack/test on wildlife. To what ends? Only those responsible know.
2. It is some type of cosmic/environmental event that is occurring that we either don't know about or have not been informed of.

No matter what is occurring, trying to deny that something isn't going on is a total joke.

Those reported are just the birds that fell on populated areas.......... Wonder how many died that haven't been discovered yet?

Yep My thoughts also.

Would just like to know if this
has been a Regular Occurrence
from the beginning of record keeping,
Or fairly Recent, as far as how often
lately.

Or if it's the News media Mongering for ratings.

If you ever noticed when a plane Crashes
they report on all Plane crashes no matter how small.
till a train crashes,
then they Concentrate on Train Crashes.

Sort of like TV Producers Copycat Hit shows

A search of USGS records shows there have been 16 events in the past 30 years involving blackbirds where at least 1,000 of the birds have died seemingly all at once.

Startling New Figures on Rate of Extinctions Say 12% of Species to be in Peril by 2100. (this study was done in 2006)

"Birds are an important component of our ecosystem. They keep mice and rats in control and eat insects that attack crops. They are food for other organisms and create habitat for other organisms. They disperse seeds and pollen. There are cases on islands when birds go extinct that the trees also go extinct,'' Dumbacher said.

Scientists say the decline of both the diversity and abundance of birds portends problems for the planet. Birds play a part in seed dispersal, plant pollination and insect control.

Diet of Redwing Blackbirds:

About 75% of the annual Red-winged Blackbird diet is seeds. During the breeding season, they also eat insects, especially dragonflies, mayflies, and caddis flies as they emerge from their aquatic larval stage. In winter, grain is an important source of food, and many birds feed on corn stubble and at feedlots.

Redwings are in turn eaten by foxes, bobcats, hawks, shrikes, and owls, and crows and blue jays often take their eggs and babies. Hundreds of thousands of redwings are poisoned every year in places where they destroy crops.

They only rarely hit communications towers, because they migrate by day. If they join a huge flock that causes damage on a farm, they may get poisoned or shot.

Usually I go to http://www.snopes.com/ to verify any rumors or misinformation but I cant find anything about the coffins on Snopes. They usually investigate these type of things. :icon_scratch:.

They are either coffins for several people, very large coffin liners or a coffin goes inside each one.

I wonder how long it's been going on, but was unnoticed. I saw the same thing here probably about 12 years ago. Dead blackbirds laying around everywhere. It was strange. I figured it was some kind of disease, but I don't know.

That was most likely West Nile. I found a few birds of prey killed from it.

Every year for awhile I'v been Finding the Dead Crows
(Black Birds :dontknow:) around my house.
But always too far gone to have them tested for west Nile.
They told me they want them Fresh.
Not mass #'s though 1 to 3 per year

This seems the most likely answer but it seems to me that if they were posoned they would not all die together. It would also show in the autopsy.

Some farmer probably shooting to scare them off his property. They have very poor vision at night and there could have been hundreds of thousands taking off at once. Flying into each other and trees and powerlines etc. A witness reported seeing many low flying birds flying into trees, lines, houses, etc. 5,000 or so injured birds out of a few hundred thousand sounds plausible :dontknow:

Jeff you can see them on Google Earth! I've seen them before...I will go and see if I can find them again...might take a bit.

no need on this. I Know they are there.

4. Hundreds of thousands of plastic coffins
CLAIM: "500,000 plastic air-tight coffins in the middle of Atlanta Georgia. Apparently the Government is expecting a Half Million people to die relatively soon, and the Atlanta Airport is a major airline traffic hub, probably the biggest in the country, which means Georgia is a prime base to conduct military operations and coordination. It is also the home of the CDC, the Center for Disease Control. I don't want to alarm anyone, but usually you don't buy 500,000 plastic coffins 'just in case something happens,' you buy them because you know something is going to happen. These air tight seal containers would be perfect to bury victims of plague or biological warfare in, wouldn't they?"

FACT: The black polypropylene products purported to be coffins are grave liners, or burial vaults, manufactured by Convington, Ga.-based Vantage Products. (In this case, they are examples of the company's Standard Air Seal model.) The use of a burial vault, which prevents the collapse of cemetery ground and protects the casket, is a common requirement when a body is interred.

The filmed lot in Madison, Ga., is a Vantage storage facility. Of the 900,000 or so in-ground burials in the U.S. each year, a small percentage of those people prearranged their own caskets and vaults--which Vanguard holds at the storage facility until the appropriate time. According to company Vice President of Operations Michael Lacey, there are approximately 50,000 vaults in storage in Madison. "It's nowhere near the quantity they talk about on the Internet," he told the local Morgan County Citizen newspaper. Furthermore, Lacey has said the company maintains detailed records of product ownership and is audited annually, to insure all vaults are accounted for.

I thought it might have been something like that. I can't keep all these bird and mosquito diseases straight. I would say we're looking at something similar now.

I Don't think any Virus Kills all at once.
If it did Cities of people would be lying dead from
Flu Etc.

I don't think even bubonic plague
caused Seemingly Healthy
people to Fall all over the streets
on cue

You're probably right. So what happened?

Do we know they all died at once?

Also it has been reported in almost every case that these birds were dead before they hit the ground of physical trauma.

So I don't buy disease theory at all.

No they did not all die at once , some were only injured.

Just an Uneducated Guess , But,

Unless Birds Hang around dead ones I Think it's pretty
Clear they Rained down there
& Died, or died & Rained down.:dontknow:

Would have Loved to see it though !

Sounds good but I dont think they are long enough to hold a coffin.

I just buried my father. We paid about 5 grand for the coffin. I am thinking now that they may remove the bodies from the expensive coffins and put them into these plastic ones then sell the coffins again and again. It still doesnt make sense because the plastic will eventually rot and collapse. :icon_scratch:

OK they were all killed or injured from the same event. (in different cities) Correct?

I didn't say that. A witness in Bebe stated he heard what he thought was knocking at the door, when he opened the door he witnessed low flying birds flying into everything, including a bird flying in through his now open door. There were some birds in his yard that were still alive but injured.
