More thoughts

Re: More thought's

Light does not experience time since it moves at, um, the speed of light. If conciousness is a form of light, or electromagnetic radiation, it may not have a time component itself, but may rely on the brain to remain in tune to this reality.

Re: More thought's

Beep, I'll agree with you there, the brain operates on some form of electricity, therefore thought may also move at that speed, or perhaps a bit slower due to processing. Proof positive is when you say something without thinking of the ramifications. :laughing7:

dirt doctor, as far thought being alive, I think it is merely a process of complex engineering. A computer can think to a certain point with the knowledge that it's programmed to handle, but cannot think in the same terms we do. Nor can a computer evolve on its own, at least so far it can't. Just remember HAL :laughing7:

Some people are wired correctly and the thought process works well, on others, there seems to be a misfiring, or poor connection between the principle contacts.

Re: More thought's

This is a stimulating conversation. It's very thought provoking.

Re: More thought's

And light in spots too. That makes it all the more fun :laughing7:

bigscoop, I think you're like me.. Only I'm starting in the subbasement and can just about see the first rung of the ladder from down here. :laughing7:

so we have to forgive all the crazies, idiots, and more describing words, we must give people a break????
:laughing9:

so there is truly no purpose in commenting on the nutso problems out there in the world right???
:laughing7:

it is useless cause they are misfiring???

Have you got a light you can turn on down there? Maybe a candle? :laughing7:
Take my word for it....don't light a flare! :laughing7:

Re: More thought's

FarmerChick, I think we have to keep in mind that not all mind problems stem from drugs. Look how many people lose their motor and cognitive skills due to an accident.. The brain is like the ocean, we haven't even skimmed the surface of its nature :tongue3:

Re: More thought's

A great thread to wake up to here and to see the different reactions from different people .I am presently experiencing
some brain misfiring so please excuse me for a while I give myself a tune up :coffee2: :coffee2: :coffee2: :coffee2: :coffee2: :coffee2: :coffee2: :coffee2: :laughing7:

oh I was not saying it was all drugs, just some people are stupid, according to others, so is it just re-wiring of that individual?
and should we be more tolerant?

are some more wired for emotions vs. logic? if so does that make them less or more?????

Re: More thought's

FarmerChick, I am barely tolerant of people firing correctly on all cylinders, and you want me to do more :dontknow: :laughing9:

dirt doctor, it is interesting to see the way people view things... What I appreciate most, is that no one is afraid to voice their own opinion, even if it's not acceptable to others.

Like Beep said, difference is what makes the world go round and interesting..

Re: More thought's

:laughing9: :laughing9: :laughing9:

yea those 'supposedly' firing on all cyclinders 'might think' they are but we know they aren't!!!
:laughing9:

yet
they think
they are

:laughing9: :laughing9:

how do you convince a non-firing all cylinder person that they are not firing on 'all cylinders' :dontknow:

Re: More thought's

FarmerChick, that is a rhetorical question if I ever hear one. :laughing7:

That's like the blind leading the blind through a forest, with no aid of a cane.

Re: More thought's

Yeap just sit there doing this :icon_scratch: :icon_scratch: No wonder they don't run efficient... :icon_scratch: It gets overheated tooooo quickly ???

Re: More thought's

:laughing9: There is no safe answer to Farmerchicks question! The best thing to do is steer clear of them, you never know what is going on!!! :dontknow: Red

Re: More thought's

??? ??? ??? :smileinbox: ??? ??? ??? :smileinbox: :blob5: :blob6: :blob8: :blob7: :blob9: :blob7: :blob8: :blob7:

Yep Only Firing on 2 of 8 cylinders :laughing9: Theres the Problem

Re: More thought's

is it just the 'majority' rules consensus 'on who is running on all cylinders' vs. who might be running on 2 of 8????

if all agree, and a few don't, therefore the few that don't are dumb????????????

Re: More thought's

You do have a point there FarmerChick

There are some 2 stroke engines that can out perform the 6, or 8 cylinder engine :tongue3:

This is getting to be too much work and no fun.... :tongue3:

Even royalty has checked in

"Balls", said the queen....

If I had them, I'd be KING :headbang:

Not always FC sometimes the few that don't agree turn out to be right and then their way of thinking is adopted by the majority . EXAMPLE "The world is flat and our ships will go over the sides" that argument literally didn't hold water .
As far as emotional vs. logical either too little or too much of both can be a bad thing but both are needed .I see two more posts were added while I was printing this but I'm still going to add this as it is .
