While mowing today , someone has been digging my yard up leaving mangled plugs all over no not a critter , counted 25 or so holes. Who ever it is you do not want me to catch you it will be the last hole you dig

Sounds like you missed a lot of targets.

Private property no trespassing signs up all over , yeah I have but have not had time to do my entire yard yet

Time to load up some rock salt

That's just not cool. Especially for a metal detectorist to have their own property violated. I wonder if getting some "deer" trail cameras installed might help you to catch this pirate scum? Sorry to here about your trespassers. They give us all a black eye.

I think your Detecting in you Sleep :coffee2:

As mentioned above, get a trail cam to catch them.

The headline "More trespassers" implies you have had trouble with trespassers before. Is there a back story here? Yep the rock salt would be good. Trail cams are good too but IDing individuals is tough unless you already know them from the neighborhood or your relative works with facial recognition software for a living.

Side effects of ambien may include.....

Pointing rock salt at someone is just a good way to get yourself killed.

Or arrested. I took the comment to be a joke. I sure hope it was and that everyone understands that. Assault with a deadly weapon in the eyes of the law.

Cams are a great idea, shooting someone isnt. In the old days, you could get away with getting shot(or shooting) with rock salt, Many of conductors took a shots at me(never got hit). The last thing you want is litigation against you. Also, is this being done at night or day? you may want to get someone to watch the place.

Put it this way last time someone all most got shot , camo on them and truck stealing scrap metal had they not moved when they did they would have been nailed with a 45 , .....

You can always build a tall fence around your land. Good hunting and good luck.

I've done this for a friends place, and that is I bought and posted a few "Smile, your on camera" signs. Now, if YOU came across one of those, would you at least wonder, Is there? or is there NOT a camera. I would feel like, Hmmmm, perhaps I'll go somewhere else.

Nice suggestion but, nobody should have to pay to build a fence just to keep trespassers off of their property! :nono:

Good luck. I know what I'd do but I won't discuss it here.
