Depends on what county you are in. Oakland County Parks now allows morel hunters to pick but they must use a net bag so spores can reseed the area.

I know there has been some in the Allegan woods, but conditions there haven't peaked. I'll get details on the North woods this weekend. Then I'll be up there myself next weekend. I anticipate it will start to get good up north about then.

Here's a few from today 5-8-2008

I haven't swung my detectors yet since coming back home to the states, But I went poking around in the woods around the house today and found a few Grays. These are from Eastern Oceana County.



As soon as I get to swinging a coil I'll post some coins soon ( I Hope! )
