Do you have any info/GPS location of the rock/or which canyon they went up? Red Rock in a large place. Mike

Interesting Jeff….I know nothing about Petroglyphs…I know of a few places named Red Rock. For those who live near 35 35.230N X 114 57.869W and like the heat can go there and see if they can match anything to the petroglyph….Art

I recall that this is supposed to be in Red Rock Canyon, out of Las Vegas. I also know that you are not allowed to hike other than the marked trails, according to the park rangers. This is a very well documented treasure.

working may have been from an early treasure Hunting book or Magazine 50's/60's (Ageing of the Clippings)

However if it was from a news Paper, & not another Source, Which I'm 50/50 on at the Moment, if it was from a clipping, would have been in Chronicling America

Okedoke ! Searching "MORMON GOLD"
35 pages are available just in Nevada Papers
and again Color of my clippings is Different.
so must have been from an old book or magazine or
considering the Rounded Corners. May have been from a Treasure Hunting Club Newspaper . I Used to have several in the Past but Lost them in the Move SORRY !

if somewhere down the line, my memory gets a jolt, I'll let ya Know
