I believe the point is made of agate and was found in North Dakota.

here is yours along w/your dad's
i think your dad's blade is made from petrified wood, not??
they might be points but i'm thinking more and more that they were blades for a 3,4, or 5 bladed rib bone knife handle

imagine those two blades along with one or two more being hafted into a rib bone handle
they could have made quick work on cutting buffalo or elk meat, or any animal being processed for food, clothing, tools, game pieces, etc.

Larson- Those blades look good together and have too agree with you that they would make quick work of anything being cut up. One of these days I'll have something from Wyo to show you. You've got me hooked and you said it best "way way cool man." Thanks for the hunts and history lessons.

Coteua- I make it back from Wyo to ND about once a year and I'm one of the lucky ones that Larson takes out for a hunt

maybe when the water goes down we can walk the old river beds and find some 8-12 thousand yr old tatonka skulls
i know a guy up north about 25 miles that has a skull w/a point sticking in it
