The coolest part was that it was Mr Wd's idea and he took me to one of our farmer's farms for some dirt fishing this afternoon. And, he did the digging! :hello2: It was very hot! The farm house was built in 1903. We dug up lots of trash: nails, rusty wire pieces, foil, aluminum, and a copper grounding wire. We did find a little jewelry box key (I think) fairly early on. The heat was getting to us, but I wanted to swing the AT Max over the sidewalks. I got a hit in the crack of one and we pulled out 3 wheaties: 1929, 1930, and 1942 and also a jewelry clasp. Then, Mr WD took charge of my pinpointer and got a hit between the porch and the step. It was too hard to get to, so I tried a little to the right. I got a hit and ended up pulling out a paring knife. The pinpointer was still screaming, but we couldn't get out whatever was setting it off. My guess is whatever is down there, someone tried to use the knife to fish it out. We hunted for about an hour and a half and called it quits due to the heat. I am looking forward to going back there!

Look at it like this: we removed a lot of trash for you. Now you can swing in and find the cool stuff!

Thanks. Not digging was great. You are right, it is bugging me! Mr WD was joking that I was going to have the farmer bring in heavy equipment to rip up the step so I could pull out a quarter. LOL!

Nice hunt, very cool key & nice wheats, congrats
