This is mostly just to have a place to put some pictures to reference in one of the artifacts threads. I don't like to put pictures of new stuff into threads about old stuff. I'm actually in Virginia and this material is from Maine. I was given it since I am mostly a quartzite knapper, and this material knaps in a way similar to quartzite. These pieces all made using direct percussion with a dogwood hammer, then finished with antler indirect percussion.
