yep. a lot of hunters up that way. there is also a club that meets at moores bar-b-que on 17. here is the website. http://www.care-nc.com/
I moved from there last year and now live in cape carteret. plenty of stuff still left in the ground. you just have to do your research. I still get up that way every once in while to hunt.
