Mowed the lawn over in the abandoned lot next to my house where I have found about
a dozen wheats, a mercury dime and various change dropped in the 60s and 70s.
I clipped it very low in hopes of perhaps getting something that was out of reach
with taller grass.
Found a few more wheats 1919,40,46,56 and a 1949 dime, all that I had missed
after going over this area several times.

I guess every inch you can shave off on top is helpfull to get the hard to reach
stuff. HH

True, true. Very good idea with very good results, dj!

Congrats on those finds! Nana :)

Cool, and you know when you trim the shrubbery, everything looks bigger and is easier to find.....
Keep safe...

Well done :)

Now try taking of 1" of soil :D
