Was allowed to hunt a small front yard of a 1923 home. I used my Safari w Pro coil and started up sidewalk. First coin 1901 V nickel. Was on the higher end of the nickel scale 15 but a cleaner, fuller sound. Moved maybe a foot more and another nickel signal. Solid 13 on my ML which is the normal ID for nickels. 1905 V nickel. I just know Im close to some older silver. It wasnt to be. Picked up the thrid one in middle of yard. 1907 V and it is in the best shape. Also pulled 2 Jeffersons from the 60's. The wheats are 1912, 1919 and 55. A did pull alot of Lincolns but only one Zincoln. Tabs found were the old thin ring beaver tales and some had gotten down as deep as nickels. Tie clasp is Retro 60's copy. Over 35 coins from small yard. At least whoever got the silver from the yard they didnt dig the nickel signals.
The 1944 Mexican 50 Centavos is a .72 percent silver coin. Not in the ground to long from shape its in. Was from a neighborhood from 60's that airport expansion cleared out a few years ago. Only repeatable signal in a hours worth of swinging.
Not the normal nickel, silver finds around here. Thanks for looking
