My 10th 1789 George Washington Inaugural Button a few coins & a Sword Scabbard band

Got out with Todd back up to the site we went last weekend where he dug his eagle plate and I got my silvered shoe buckle.usually when i dig a horse shoe I have a good day.
3 Indian head pennies 1860,1864 & 1901.a 1867 2 cent piece. a nice old (bat wing style) buckle.
a smashed flat Sword Scabbard band with the ring and my 10th 1789 George Washington memorable era variety button.a shame it's pretty toasted

i left what black crud was still stuck on it otherewise i'd be lookin at a plain old colonial coat button.I gave it a shot of hairspray so least the black date will stay on. oh well that's the way it goes.

Todd did just as well in the finds dept with GW button being a gem unlike mine.

Dave, you'll easily get large Copper #50. You guys are having some great hunts and I know you will continue to hunt no matter the weather. Nice early IH finds too as most of the IHs we dig here are post 1900. HH & Happy Thanksgiving Bud, Q.

Great hunt Dave, congrats on #10. At the rate you're going you'll have #20 in about 3 more years! Your other finds look pretty good too.

Another GW, seriously? :notworthy: I think you've hit the mother lode of GW Inaugural buttons for the original 13 colonies. They're all in you neck of the woods! Beautiful looking plate there!
