My 1st GOLD !!!

I hit a beach late in the day at low tide around 6:30 and was working in about 2 feet of water. The bottom was mostly sand with patches of grass.

After about 45 minutes I was getting a mixed tone and the reading was from 59 to 65 and showed to be 2".

I scoop and nothing. I rescan and the same numbers but now it's about 4" so I scoop again and nothing. Then after I scooped down to about a foot there it was hanging from my scoop. It's hard to see in the photo but it reads Italy 14K.

I found the ring about 15 minutes later. It is stainless with the Lord's prayer in Spanish.

Awesome first gold...chains and bracelets are hard to scoop up, almost every one Ive found came up hanging over the edge of the bucket or through one of the holes...congrats on your first gold.
